Daily Glimpse Into Tunisia's Multifaceted Heritage since 2016.
.. As we dive deeper into our time journey in Pheradi Majus, we come across a seashell.. such a fossil, carved and immortalized by Tunisia’s early builders, grabbed through the lens of Skander Zarrad - Keep exploring!
.. and then, how about sinking into this bathtub from another age.. and stop: Byzantine Ksar Lemsa.. When was it last savored? Meditated and pictured by Amine Mouelhi around Tunisia’s northeastern plains
Meandering across the wild grass.. Eyeing this beauty standing in grace.. Witness of Tunisia’s Byzantine times best depicted by Ksar Lemsa fortress, captured by Jaafer Krimi
Back to Pheradi Majus: Welcomed by this silent, ageless witness next to another doorway into Tunisia’s lush past and heartland.. Cherished and pictured by Skander Zarrad - Step in!
After slipping through the arch, we take these stairs up to Mount Kesra.. Deeper into the land’s legacy.. Stepping into Amazigh’s aging yet vivid world, revived by Tunisia’s youth, portrayed by Anas Soltani
These are not the Moai Statues.. Here is a summit skillfully carved by Mother Nature over eras.. Overlooking every human culture and civilization that has thrived in today’s Tunisia.. Captured by Majed Sahli from the heights of Kesra
Still embracing forceful nature around Kesra’s summit: Some rocks are sculpted by the wind, others are cleaved by the roots.. We stand in awe of this ethereal spectacle offered by an ancient olive tree, visited and portrayed by Nejib Chouk in northwestern Tunisia.. Keep grounded!
Atop the heights of Kesra, we take a bracing glance at Tunisia’s epic, resilient olive trees welcoming winter’s graces beneath an immaculate white coat.. Stay warm! Photo credit unknown
